I have no title :)

{Stop The Laziness}

Wednesday : To the fridge & back
Thursday: 4 miles outside = 38:29min
______________________________________________

I went out and did an earlier-than-usual run today before work. I'm hoping to throw in another few miles tonight at the gym.

Side Note: Anyone ever work out (either at the gym/outside running) in only your sports bra?
I'm simply not bold enough! I see it a lot at my gym. Love the confidence, I love it. Maaaybe one day!

I ended up doing 4miles in 38:29min. It's getting better!

I took the advice from yesterday to do speed intervals - it really helped. It was rough, but worth it. I'm usually a "boring" and steady paced runner.

Also, there was about four H words that I went through - Hills. Again, unless I'm really feeling the run, I tend to avoid them. Today, I went to them. Thanks for the advice guys!! Deeefinitely will be incorporating these MUCH more often now.

Every run is hard, but I'm feeling motivated!

I've been absolutely loving my purple pro compression socks! They are SUPER duper warm, and they feel great on. I'm still relatively new to them, but very impressed.

I've been stalking the websites for any sales because I'd like to get 2-3 more.
Found it!

Check this link if you're interested. 50 down to 30 dollars. Most importantly (for me and maybe if you're international as well), FREE shipping! Last time, there was 50% off but shipping for me cost almost 20 bucks. Everything, all in, was $30 this time :)

I got theseee ones!

What's good on TV tonight?! What's your favourite shows??
I'm so out of the TV loop and need to find something interesting to watch on my free time! hmph!
I used to be hooked on Grey's Anatomy but I'm now behind on sooo many episodes. Probably a good time to catch up!

  1. Working out in just a sports bra in public - no way man! Maybe when I have a six-pack ab body again ;-)

I'm watching Big Bang and Grey's tonight!

  2. I won't even work out in a tank top in public!
    One day :-)

  4. I wish I ran like this!! I need to seriously stop the laziness ;)

  5. Wow- speed and hills- sounds like a tough run!
I run outside in only a sports bra when we're on holidays somewhere tropical. I just don't want the extra heat and sweat of a shirt!

  6. It was almost hot enough in Florida to go in just a running bra. Almost. Unfortunately my running bras aren't cute and involve lots of support. It might be awkward.

  7. I also use to watch grey's anatomy but haven't seen an episode in forever.. Start watching Pretty Little Liars it's so good!

  8. Thanks so much for the link! I'm obsessed with the Pink Argyle socks. I might have to order a pair! Also, I'm loving Nashville right now. I didn't have a chance to watch it last night so I can't wait to check the DVR when I get home tonight.

  9. I love The Mindy Project for television.
Glad you found speed intervals to be helpful!
Jealous of the compression socks; I need some, but I don't want to cough up the dough (story of my life) :)

  10. I'm sorry, but you're not allowed not to have a title. I had no choice but to turn you in...

  11. So glad you got some speed-work in there - it's going to make you so much faster! And hills are gold, I still don't do enough :-).

I'm not brave enough to strip either. I did it once and I felt like I was being judged in a big way. Great running!

  12. LOL! Love your Wednesday workout title of "running to the fridge and back" sounds a lot like what I was doing this past Saturday.
In terms of the sports-bra only question I dont think I'd ever dare to do that in public. Unless someone pays me. That aint happening lol.
My favorite shows are: "what not to wear" and "how I made my millions" which have nothing to do with each other. lol I am rarely ever home
for either one so I usually just catch up on my DVR. Happy Thursday!

  13. "To the fridge & back"- lol that's me today :) I have no classes and feel so sore after last nights yoga :(

So many women in my yoga classes are in their sports bras! My friend actually did it too! I honestly don't feel confident enough to do it :( Who knows maybe after some planks I will get that confidence. But yeah I might be running in a sports bra over the summer- it just gets way too hot!

  14. Love this title! Sometimes that's the hardest part to come up with! And I don't have the confidence either to just "bra it" at the gym, I do admire those that do. I've been wearing my PRO's as dress socks lately...super sexy huh?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I don't usually feel comfortable enough to run in just my sports bra either. Only once in a while if it is super hot in the summer. Great job on the speedy workout this morning! Also -- I love the red & blue colors of your new socks! I seriously want to buy ALL the colors!
Thursday nights I like to watch sitcoms like "Up All Night" and "Parks & Recreation"

  16. Hee, hee - I did a weights workout today in my sports bra and Nike shirts - it was super ot and I was sweaty so my Tshirt came off, luckily I was at home!

  17. When we go to Florida in September, I will sometimes run in my sports bra but only because it is HOT!! Any other time, I am not that brave. Great deal on those socks. Gotta love free shipping!

  18. I definitely don't have enough confidence to rock just a sports bra when I'm working out! I love your blog - so inspirational! Running a marathon is on my list of things to do in life but I think I'll start with running my first 5k this summer...gotta start somewhere, right? What shoes would you recommend for running?

Thanks for visiting my blog, Darling! I'm going to follow yours!

  19. I don't think I would ever be able to workout in my sports bra at the gym. I have run outside in my sports bra, but I think it's because I feel less noticeable.

  20. I am also out of the loop. My favorites have been Duck Dynasty (hilarious) and the Bachelor! I need some help though!

  21. I have been loving catfish on MTV and impractical hikers on tru tv...its on tonight. I used to run in a sports bra in college when I was skinny! Now, no way! So glad you had a successful run today!! Speed intervals were a good idea.

    1. Haha that show is impractical jokers, not hikers. Silly auto correct.

    2. Catfish! I heard about that but can't remember what it's about..gooogle, I'm coming!

  22. I wear only my sports bra all the time! Wait, what? Never mind.

    ReplyDelete
  23. ooh I've never been confident enough to just wear a sports bra to the gym or outside. I just feel nakie! haha. And thanks for posting about the compression socks, I'm DEFINITELY considering getting a pair!

  24. I thought about you during my run today, I was having a hard tough run. It wasn't easy and I wanted to stop so many times, but I pushed through!
I have never run in a sports bra, I am definitely not that bold!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yay for intervals! And I swore I would never wear just a sports bra, but one day a few summers ago, it was way too hot and I just had to take my shirt off for a few miles. Luckily it was on a trail and not many people were around!

    1. I think it's GREAT you were able to! I'd looove to have the confidence one day!

  26. I need to start doing intervals again! I have only run in a sports bra once or twice on abandoned trail runs. I feel wayyyy too exposed for road running in just a sport bra but am super envious of the girls that are fine with it. I have been lusting after some more compression socks...may have to give in...

  27. I always watch the shows online after they air. Currently hooked on Parenthood. And I love the red socks!

  28. Once Upon a Time!!! totally hooked!! just started back up sunday, and so did biggest loser, so psyched that Jillian is back on it!!! Happy to see you enjoying your runs again :)

I do wear my bra only outside for super hot workouts. I am not even fit, but I just don't care ;)

    1. I freaking love the confidence - please share!! Or, maybe It'll just rub off on me as I stalk your blog more and more this year :D

  30. So awesome that you are adding speedwork! I find that if left on my own, I will do lots and lots (and lots) of easy-paced miles. I feel like I can just run forever but never get any faster. It is only when I push myself by having a training plan that dictates paces or specific speedwork that I find myself really improving. I really like being "comfortable" when I'm running but only get better/faster by getting "uncomfortable". Makes sense, I suppose, but still isn't easy!! :)

On hot days and especially on trails, I'll run in just a sports bra. But not at the gym... Just would be too self-conscious. Funny thing, though, is that I actually have a flat stomach and great abs yet I'll see people that are much less fit than I am and they are perfectly happy running at the gym in just a bra. I envy their confidence and think it is great that they are comfortable doing that no matter what they look like.

  31. Hills and speedwork works me out...they're hard, heh. But then, I suppose it should be. Great job on the intervals, they're a great workout. And the more you hit those hills, the easier it'll be come race day!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I guess it depends on the situation whether or not I'll run in just a sports bra. Where I live, in January, I just don't see the need! Plus, three kids and a few stretch marks..it's gotta be a hot day. lol

    ReplyDelete
  33. hills! that's great! you tackled them and kicked a**! don't think i could work out/run just in a sports bra, but admire those who do :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Good job with the hills!!! I swear I run in old lady baggy clothes. I woukd love to run in just a sports bra on really hot days. I definitely don't have the confidence!
I need to try out compression socks! The ones you picked look really cute!
If you come up with a good tv show let me know! I never know what to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  35. LOVE those socks!!! awesome colours! if you ever get a chance to try CEP comp socks, they are great, too - mine are hot pink!!
i do not have a tv so only watch if i am at my parents...so i am wayyy out of the loop with shows!
i would wear only a jog bra if it's super hot out or in the gym.
    happy friday!

  36. I am definitely not bold enough to just run in a sports bra in public! When I run in my basement on the treadmill and no one else is home I will, but I would feel awkward running like that in front of other people!

    ReplyDelete
  37. How many seasons are we in to Grey's Anatomy? It's still my favorite show on tv.

    ReplyDelete
  38. haha i loved the one where you ran to the fridge and back. that must have been intense =P and i don't think id be able to run in my sports bra either, unless i was at home of course

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'll have to check those socks out they look great!! The only shows I watch on TV anymore is Hart of dixi and vampire diaries!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. To the fridge and back..BAHAA I died. When I went to hot yoga in Arizona I wore only my sports bra both times. I didn't care what I looked like because everyone was sweating like they were in labor. One day I hope to run with my shirt off!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I've heard lots of good things about the pro-compression socks! I have yet to try them for myself, but it would definitely help when recovering from long runs. Have a great weekend, girly!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I want to be bold enough to rock just the sports bra one of these days, too! Especially if I'm outside running in the summer--sticky/sweaty tank top + 95 degree weather is NO fun.

    ReplyDelete
  43. To the fridge and back workouts are the best, they can really get intense! I will run outside in a sports bra because you pass people quickly but never in a gym where you are right there for a long time. Too weird for me!

    ReplyDelete
  44. You actually made hills sound appealing!! :)
    Great workout!
We love The Good Wife, The Mentalist, CSI and Biggest Loser...

    ReplyDelete
  45. I laughed at your title, sometimes I have no idea what to put either!

    ReplyDelete
  46. YES! So glad you tried the speed intervals. Best a** kicking:) lol

I had a goal last year to run in my sports bra, but it makes me a bit uncomfortable. I admire those girls that can rock it.

    have a great weekend:)

  49. Since I work for an university, the rules are enforced for clothing which I can understand, but I can't work out in a bra, unless if its for hot yoga.

Those compression socks look nice!! I am currently loving Portlandia. I've been so behind my favorite shows New Girl, The Mindy Kaling Project. I also love Pretty Little Liars. Can't help liking mystery TV Shows, who is the real A?!

  50. Nice! I love those socks! I refrained from buying more this month (the black are the sock of the month, and I don't have black ones! but if the husband sees one more pair of compression socks in the laundry I think he'll cut up my credit card. I ordered the tan argyle and orange right before christmas. I knew I should have hidden them instead of putting them under the tree from santa for myself. duh! I'm up to 5 pairs, so I just can't justify another pair! (although I signed up for a shamrock run...and I really could use a green pair for that, don't you think?!)

    1. lol, I got your back - you absolutely NEED green ones!! Go go go, get them!!
I'm always looking for ANYTHING with colour, so I didn't get the black ones this month..I'm gonna be rounding up every other colour it seems!
